ಭಕ್ತಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳೇ,

ಮಹಾನಗರ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೃದಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸುಮಾರು 800 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿರುವ ಪುರಾತನವಾದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉರ್ವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ಕೂಡಾ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕುಂಭ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಷಾವಧಿ ಮಹಾಪೂಜೆಯು ಸಂಭ್ರಮ – ಸಡಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರುತ್ತದೆ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಡಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ವರ್ಗದ ಭಕ್ತಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಉರ್ವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಭಕ್ತಿ -ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತೀ ದಿನವೂ ಊರು, ಪರವೂರು, ದೇಶ-ವಿದೇಶಗಳ ಭಕ್ತರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ. ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮಹಾಮಾತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಮನದಾಳದ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೃತಾರ್ಥರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ನಟ-ನಟಿಯರು, ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಧುರೀಣರು, ಖ್ಯಾತ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಸಹಿತ ವಿವಿಧ ವಲಯದ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಖ್ಯಾತ ನಾಮರು ಸಹ ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಉರ್ವ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕೂಡಾ ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದಲೇ ಉರ್ವದ ಮಹಾಮಾತೆಯು ‘ಬೇಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ತಾಯಿ ‘ ಎಂಬ ನುಡಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ .

ಇಂತಹ ದಿವ್ಯ ಮಾತೆಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ವರ್ಷಾವಧಿ ಮಹಾಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶ ‘ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರವು ‘ಪ್ರಶ್ನಾ ಚಿಂತನೆ ‘ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ವರ್ಷಾವಧಿ ಉತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ’ ವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಿದ್ದತಾ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿ ‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿ ‘ಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ ನೆರೆವೇರಲಿದ್ದು, ಆ ಬಳಿಕ ವರ್ಷಾವಧಿ ಮಹಾಪೂಜೆಯು ಜರಗಲಿದೆ. ಆತ್ಮೀಯರೇ, ಈ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯ ಸಹಿತ ಕೆಲವು ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ದಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸುತ್ತು ಪೌಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ನವೀಕರಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಬ್ರಹತ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣವೊಂದು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸದ್ರಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣವು ಮುಂದಿನ ಜನವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಭಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ .

ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ದಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 8 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಗಳ ವೆಚ್ಚ ತಗಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಭಕ್ತಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಕೊಡುಗೈ ದಾನಿಗಳು ಉರ್ವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಉದಾರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿ, ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಾಮಾತೆಯ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿನಮ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ನವೀಕರಣಾಂಗ ದಿನಾಂಕ 30-11-2023 ನೇ ಗುರುವಾರ ದಿವಾ ಗಂಟೆ 12:10ಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸುಮುಹೂರ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಚರಕಲಶಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಬಾಲಾಲಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವುದು. ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ. ನಂಬಿದವರಿಗೆ ಇಂಬು ನೀಡುವ ಸರ್ವ ಜನರ ಸಲಹುವ ಉರ್ವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಸಮಾಜದ ಆರಾಧ್ಯ ತಾಣ. ಭವ್ಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಹಲವು ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು ೬೦೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೋಳೂರು ಮೊಗವೀರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಗಾಗಿದ್ದ ಚುಳ್ಳಿ ಗುರಿಕಾರ ಮನೆತನದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರು ಘಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ವಾಪಾಸು ಬರುವಾಗ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯು ಆವಾಹನೆಗೊಂಡು ‘ನಾನು ಮಾರಿದೇವಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಫಲ ಕೊಡುವೆನು’ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂಬುದು ಪೂರ್ವಜರಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ. ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಆವಾಹನೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಮನೆ ಮಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಸೇರಿ ಕಡು ಬಡತನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮಾಜದವರು ಅಸುಪಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳ ಯಾವುದು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದುದರಿಂದ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಅನಾನುಕೂಲ ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆ ಇಡಲಾಯಿತು. ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನಾನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿ ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿ’ ಎಂದು ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ಅಭಯ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ,ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಸಮಾಜದ 7 ಪಟ್ಣ 11 ಗ್ರಾಮ ಅಂದರೆ ಕುದ್ರೋಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಸಬೆಟ್ಟು ತನಕ ಸಭೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಸಮಾಲೋಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ತೀರ್ಮಾನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೋಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಟೇಲರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಈ ವಿಷಯ ಮತ್ತು ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಉರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದರು . ಅದು ಖಾಲಿ ಜಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದು , ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ಕುಂಬಾರನು ಈಶ್ವರನಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೀಪವೇ ದೇವಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಮೊಗವೀರ ೭ ಪಟ್ಣ ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಪೂಜೆ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೀನಿನ ಕಸುಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಾಲು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಅಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ 7 ಪಟ್ಣ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಂತಿಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಬರುವಂತಹ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಇದೆ.

ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷದ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಇತ್ತ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಹಾಕಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೀನಿನ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸರಗಳು (ಬಂಗುಡೆ ಸರ , ಮಾಂಜಿ ಸರ ,ತೇಡೆ ಸರ, ಭೂತಾಯಿ ಸರ, ಸಿಗಡಿ ಸರ)ಈಗಲೂ ನಾವು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಬೋಳೂರು ಮಹಾಸಭಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಹೆಂಗಸರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೇರಿ ಕಲ್ಲು, ಮಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಹಂಚಿನ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಸಾಧಾರಣ 1 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಮೀನಿನ ಕ್ಷಾಮ ಬರುವಂತಹ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ರಹೇ ಮಾಡಿ 7 ಪಟ್ಣ 11 ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಬಳಿಕ ಮರುದಿನವೇ ಮೀನು ಬರಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಈವರೆಗೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿವೆ.

ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ರಾಜನ ಅಬ್ಬರವು ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದಾಗ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾತಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಶಾಂತ ಮಾಡಿದ ಘಟನೆಯೂ ಇದೆ. ಮಳೆಗಾಲ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಇರುವಾಗ ಜೀವದ ಹಂಗು ತೆತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಘಡ ಬಾರದೇ ಈ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾಲದವರೆಗೂ ಮೊಗವೀರರು ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪುನೀತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಚುಳ್ಳಿ ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸೂತಕವು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಏಳು ಪಟ್ಣ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು ಸರದಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಗ್ರಾಮದವರಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 11 ರಿಂದ 15 : ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ
ಉರ್ವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರಿಯಮ್ಮ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಾವಧಿ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಅಂದರೆ 2024 ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 11 ರಿಂದ 15 ರವರೆಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ದಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ದೊರಕಿದೆ. ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವದ ಸೇವಾ ಕೌಂಟರ್ ನ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೂತನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ದ್ವಾರದ ಮುಹೂರ್ತ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೆರವೇರಿದೆ.

Dear devotees,
Urwa Shri Mariamma Temple, situated in the heart city of Mangalore is one of the most ancient temples of Mangalore. The presiding deity of this powerful temple is Goddess Mariamma. The temple is known far and wide not only in Karnataka but also outside of the state. The annual festival of the temple is being celebrated either during the month if February or in the month of March(Shukla paksha kumba month)every year. Lakhs of devotees visit the temple during the annual festival to seek the blessings of Godess Mariamma.

The devotees from nearby and far flung places and also from abroad visit the temple on regular basis to seek the blessings of Goddess Mariamma and they feel blessed. They return with a feeling of contentment that their prayers will be answered by the Devine. People from all walks of life, film stars, politicians,sports persons,litteratures and other celebrities visit the temple regularly which is a testimony to the power and reputation of the temple. No wonder, therefore, that the Goddess Mariamma is popularly known as “blessing mother who grants favours to the seekers”.

In an astrological ritual (Prashna-Chintan) performed about this holy and powerful abode, it was directed that Brahma Kalasa ritual has to be conducted before the annual festival. Accordingly, it was decided by the temple administration to be conducted Brahma Kalashotsava (A religious ceremony to renovate the temple) in the month of February 2024 just before the annual festival. A committee ot oversee the preparations for this ritual has already been formed.

Dear devotees, on account of Brahma Kalashotsava, the sanctum sanctorum needs to be renovated and also other pooja assets have to be renewed. The construction work of a modern convention center at the premises of the temple is gathering speed and likely to be opened for public functions from January 2024. All of these developmental work and rituals entails a total expenditure of about Rs.8 crore.

Therefore, our appeal to all devotees of Mahamatha Goddess Mariamma and other philonthropists to help the administration to complete the noble task on time and be part of this historical moment by contributing generously to this holy cause and get the blessings of mother Goddess Mariamma in abundance.

SEVA DETAILS OF THE KSHETRA

On last Friday of every month after Mahapooja at 12:30pm, people can ask questions in their problems with the Darshan Paathri.
On first Friday of every month in the evening , maas “Durga Namaskara Pooja” will be performed. Devotees can pay Rs. 150/- in advance to book the pooja.
On every Tuesday and Friday ‘Ranga pooja’ is performed in the night. Devotees have to book the Pooja in advance, (Except on ekadashi)
On Panchami day, ‘Panchamrita Abhishekam’ and ‘Tambila Seva’ to the Naga devatha is available.
On the day of Chowthi every month, Gana homa, Ranga Pooja, Appada Pooja, Panchamrita Abhishekam to Lord Ganesha is available. Devotees can book these offereings in advance.
On the day of Shasti.Panchamrita Abhishekam to Lord Subrahmanya and Ranga Pooja on different days as per the requirement of the devotees available.
Every Tuesday and Friday Sarvalankara Pooja is performed. Devotees have to buy the reciept for the pooja.
Every Tuesday and Friday Anna Mahaprasadam is offered to the public after the Maha Pooja in the afternoon. Devotees who want to donate to Anna Prasadam may pay Rs.5,000/- for one day’s offering and Rs.10,000/- on permanent basis.
By offering some money to the offer box (Kanike Hundi), you can get Sri Devi Raksha Bandas to protect against various obstacles(Doshas) in daily life. These are available between 8 to 11 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the evening.
Last Saturday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 Samuhika Shani Pooja will be performed. Devotees book this Pooja by paying Rs. 150 in advance.
3 days special pooja from Ganesha Chathurthi, Nagadeva’s Special pooja on Nagara Panchami Day, Subrahmanya deva’s pooja on Annual Shashti day and Shree Malaraya-Dhoomavathi daiva’s Parva Seva on every month Sankramana Day.
In the month of Shravana Sona Arathi, Samuhika Varamahalakshmi pooja , on Vijayadashami Day and Deepavali days Balindra Pooja & Tulasi Pooja etc. will be perforemed.
On the occasion of yearly Jathra Festival Chandika Yaga & Maha Annasantharpane, Tulabhara Seva, Kanchil Seva, Madesthana Seva will be performed.
Every Saturday between 5pm and 7pm Dharma Shikshana Programme available for the age group between 6 and 25 years(male and female).

Apart from the above Sevas, on Tuesdays, in the evening Yakshagana tala-maddale is performed by the artists. On Friday Sandhya Bhajans and Lalita Sahasranama recitals by the women devotees are being performed. Cultural activities are also undertaken in the mini hall and during Dassera time, cultural functions are arranged at the temple complex for 9 days. Moreover, Marriage and Upanayana ceremonies are also being performed at the temple premises. Plans are afoot to build a multi purpose convention center at temple complex to facilitate various cultural and religious ceremonies. We request and appeal to the devotees to avail these sevas and help the temple administration to the affairs of our temple in our rich hindu traditions.
